Texas Farmers Alliance
The Texas Farmers Alliance was a group of Farmers who decided to meet to discuss their economic hardship. These members were furious due to the steady decline in price of cotton. This alliance formed and made W.L. Garvin their president. Garvin revamped the alliance and the alliance began to work together to make more profit than before. This rarely worked with agricultural work being such a chance businesses would not give the farmers a contract for a certain amount of money. The party, like all good things, came to an end in 1896.
